2 Cold Scorpio Sentenced to Six Years in Prison for Assault
Former professional wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio, whose real name is Charles Scaggs, was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday following a 2024 incident in which he admitted to stabbing a man while working as a security guard in Kansas City.
Scaggs pled guilty to second degree assault and armed criminal action, with the possibility of earning probation after completing a 120-day program due to his lack of prior criminal history. His bond was revoked last month after he violated it by brandishing a firearm, which was deemed a danger to public safety.
The incident occurred at a travel center where Scaggs was employed. He stated that he had asked a man to extinguish a cigarette, and after a dispute, he claimed self-defense when he stabbed the individual, who sustained multiple wounds. Scaggs last participated in a wrestling event in August 2025.
