The finalists for the 2026 American League Gold Glove Awards have been announced, with winners set to be revealed on November 1. Three players from each position are nominated, along with a new utility player category.

Voting for the finalists is conducted by managers and up to six coaches from each MLB team, accounting for 75% of the total votes, while the SABR Defensive Index contributes the remaining 25%. The utility player category is determined using a defensive formula co-developed with Rawlings and SABR.

Among the nominees are Tanner Bibee, Jacob deGrom, and José Soriano for pitcher; Dillon Dingler, Brandon Valenzuela, and Austin Wells for catcher; and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Vinnie Pasquantino, and Christian Walker for first base. The complete list includes players across all positions, showcasing their defensive achievements throughout the season.
