2026 Fantasy Football Breakouts Identified by SportsLine Model
The 2026 Fantasy football rankings from SportsLine have identified several players poised for breakout seasons. Among the highlighted athletes are Chargers running back Omarion Hampton and Bears receiver Luther Burden III, both of whom are expected to outperform their average draft positions.
Omarion Hampton, who finished as RB35 last season, is projected to improve significantly after recovering from injuries. He had 737 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns in his rookie year. With a stronger offensive line returning, including Pro Bowl tackles Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater, Hampton is anticipated to excel in the upcoming season.
Luther Burden III, a second-round pick in 2025, is also expected to make an impact. He ranked fourth among Chicago wide receivers in targets last year and is now positioned to be at least the No. 2 receiver on the team. Burden's impressive stats, including high yards after catch, have led to his ranking as a top-30 wideout in the 2026 Fantasy football projections.
