2026 FedEx Cup Playoffs: Format and Prize Money Details
The 20th edition of the FedEx Cup Playoffs will commence in early August, featuring a series of three events that promise excitement as the golf season concludes.
This year, the Tour Championship will adopt a conventional stroke play format, welcoming the top 30 players from the regular season and the initial postseason tournaments to East Lake Golf Club. A total of $40 million is at stake for the finale.
Changes to the postseason include a $100 million bonus pool distributed after the BMW Championship, with all players starting at even par in the Tour Championship. Scottie Scheffler, aiming for a second FedEx Cup title, leads the standings, while other top players like Rory McIlroy and Matt Fitzpatrick also seek to enhance their seasons with additional victories.
