
2026 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Details
The 2026 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set to take place on Saturday night, featuring a group of notable figures from the sport. This year's class includes one NBA player, three WNBA players, three coaches, one referee, and one entire team.
Among the inductees are Amar’e Stoudemire, a six-time All-Star, and Candace Parker, a two-time national champion and MVP. Other honorees include Chamique Holdsclaw, who won three national championships at Tennessee, and coaches Mike D’Antoni and Doc Rivers, both recognized for their significant contributions to the game. The ceremony will be broadcast live on NBA TV from 7-9 p.m. ET, with podium speeches from the new members and attendance expected from over 50 Hall of Famers.
The 1996 United States Women’s National Team, which won gold at the Atlanta Olympics, is also being honored. Inductees will have the opportunity to choose fellow Hall of Famers to introduce them during the ceremony.
