2026 Northern Ireland Open Set for October in Belfast

The 2026 Northern Ireland Open is scheduled to occur from October 18 to 25 at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, featuring many prominent players in the sport.

This tournament marks its 11th edition, with a first prize of £100,000 and the Alex Higgins Trophy awarded to the winner. Last year's final saw Jack Lisowski claim his first ranking title by narrowly defeating Judd Trump.

Mark Allen is expected to return after a six-month absence, facing Jordan Brown in the first round. Ronnie O'Sullivan is also entered, though his participation remains uncertain. A total of 64 players will compete, with matches structured in a series of frames leading up to the final.
