2026 Solheim Cup Teams Announced with Nelly Korda and Charley Hull Leading

The 2026 Solheim Cup is set to commence on September 7 in Bernadus, Netherlands, where the European team aims to recover from their previous loss to the United States, which ended 15.5-12.5 in 2024.

U.S. captain Angela Stanford announced her team, which includes nine automatic qualifiers and three captain's picks. Nelly Korda, the world No. 1, leads the U.S. squad, having achieved four LPGA Tour victories this season. Other notable players include Lauren Coughlin, Auston Kim, and Angel Yin, along with captain's picks Lindy Duncan, Meghan Khang, and Rose Zhang.

The European team, captained by Anna Nordqvist, features a blend of experienced players and newcomers, including four rookies. Among them are Julia López Ramírez, Nastasia Nadaud, and Mimi Rhodes, who were selected by Nordqvist, along with Leona Maguire. Lottie Woad, who has quickly risen to 6th in the world rankings, earned her spot as an automatic qualifier. Charley Hull, ranked No. 7, brings significant Solheim Cup experience to the team.
