49ers Conduct Workouts with Three Offensive Linemen

The San Francisco 49ers organized workouts for three offensive linemen on Friday, which included Doug Kramer, Joe Michalski, and Lecitus Smith, according to NFL Transactions.

Lecitus Smith, 28, was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals after playing at Virginia Tech. He began his career with a four-year rookie contract but was waived by Arizona following the preseason. Smith subsequently spent time on practice squads for the Eagles and Texans.

After signing with the Green Bay Packers, he started the 2024 season on their practice squad before being signed to the active roster by the New England Patriots. Following a waiver by New England, Smith was claimed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in March 2025, but was waived again in May. He returned to the Packers' practice squad, where he had a fluctuating presence last season, appearing in one game for Green Bay in 2025.
