49ers Confirm Christian Kirk Will Not Play Against Commanders

The San Francisco 49ers have officially ruled out wide receiver Christian Kirk for their Monday Night Football matchup against the Commanders. This decision comes after Kirk was downgraded from questionable to out.

Kirk had opened a 21-day return-to-practice window last week after starting the season on injured reserve due to a calf injury. In addition to Kirk's absence, the 49ers have elevated linebacker Jalen Graham and wide receiver Malik Turner for the game. Graham, who has not played this season, is expected to step in for Garret Wallow on special teams, while Turner has been activated to provide depth, having played one game this season.
