49ers Face Falcons in Week 7 NFL Showdown

The San Francisco 49ers are set to play against the Atlanta Falcons on October 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM EDT at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This Week 7 matchup is significant as the 49ers enter the game unbeaten at 5-0, while the Falcons are looking to improve their 2-4 record.

San Francisco's offense, led by quarterback Brock Purdy, has been highly effective, averaging 30.8 points per game and ranking first in third-down conversion rate. Purdy has thrown for 1,196 yards and 13 touchdowns so far this season. In contrast, Atlanta's defense has struggled, allowing 25.5 points per game and recording only one interception in six games.

For the Falcons, quarterback Michael Penix will need to step up, as the team relies heavily on its ground game, which ranks fourth in rushing yards per game. Atlanta's ability to compete will depend on Penix's performance against a strong 49ers defense that has forced seven turnovers this season.
