49ers Owner Jed York Arrested After Responding to Prostitution Ad

Jed York, the owner of the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio, after responding to a prostitution advertisement using the name 'Joe.' This incident occurred on a Sunday morning, as reported by the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force.

During the exchange, York negotiated a fee of $160 for sexual services and was directed to a fictitious location in a mobile home park. After arriving in an Avis rental car, he was unable to locate the specified lot and was subsequently stopped by police. Authorities seized his phone and the cash he had brought.

York, who holds an Ohio driver’s license, was charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He later pleaded no contest to misdemeanors of disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, receiving a two-day jail sentence and a fine of $1,150. His phone was returned, and the cash was forfeited to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. The NFL is currently reviewing the situation under its personal conduct policy.
