49ers Owner Jed York Arrested in Ohio

Jed York, the owner of the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested in Ohio over the weekend, initially facing charges for engaging in prostitution. The incident occurred on Sunday morning at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community in East Palestine, with the arrest carried out by local police and the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

Following his arrest, York pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools. He was fined $1,150 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for one day served. York has also requested to have the case expunged from his record.

The NFL is aware of the situation and plans to review it under its personal conduct policy. The 49ers organization stated that they would not comment further on the legal matter, which has been resolved. Additionally, it was noted that York and his wife filed for divorce in May.
