49ers Sign Veteran Wide Receiver KhaDarel Hodge

The San Francisco 49ers have signed veteran wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge as of Wednesday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Hodge, who is 31 years old, previously played for the Atlanta Falcons for four seasons, including two under current 49ers defensive coordinator Raheem Morris. Throughout his career, he has made 67 receptions for a total of 1,026 yards and two touchdowns. In the last season with Atlanta, he recorded three catches for 31 yards over 12 games, primarily contributing on special teams.

Hodge's addition comes as the 49ers face injury challenges at the receiver position, notably with Ricky Pearsall being sidelined for the season due to a knee injury.
