Aaron Boone's Postseason Managerial Evaluation

FanGraphs has released its annual evaluations of playoff managers, highlighting their in-game decisions. The analysis emphasizes that many managerial responsibilities, such as player readiness and reliever roles, often go unnoticed.

The report assesses decisions based on the process rather than the outcomes, noting that a pitching change can be evaluated independently of the results it produces. This approach aims to provide a balanced view of managerial effectiveness.

This week, the focus shifts to Aaron Boone and the Yankees, who were eliminated in the Division Series, following an earlier evaluation of managers from the Wild Card round.
