Aaron Donald Focuses on Team Success Over Personal Stats
Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald has not achieved a sack in five games since his return from a two-year retirement. During a press conference, he stated that individual statistics are not his priority, as his main goal is to contribute to the team's success.
Despite his lack of personal stats, Donald played 74 percent of the defensive snaps against the Raiders in Week 7, marking his highest participation rate this season. He acknowledged that being on the field more increases his chances of making plays.
The Rams have won three out of seven games so far this season and are set to face the winless Chargers. A loss would put them at risk of falling to a 3-5 record, complicating their playoff aspirations.
