Aaron Donald Works Out with Rams, Eyes Comeback
Aaron Donald participated in a workout with the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, indicating a possible return from his 2.5-year retirement.
The 35-year-old defensive tackle has been training at the Rams' Woodland Hills facility and at home, preparing to regain NFL fitness. Coach Sean McVay has expressed cautious optimism about Donald's potential comeback, especially after the Rams acquired Myles Garrett, another top defensive player.
McVay mentioned that a decision from Donald is not expected until after the team's training camp concludes this week. Donald, who retired in March 2024 after a successful decade with the Rams, won multiple accolades, including three AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards and a Super Bowl championship.
