Aaron Donald Works Out with Rams, Eyes NFL Return
Aaron Donald is taking steps towards a possible return to the NFL, having completed his second workout with the Los Angeles Rams this summer.
The defensive tackle, who retired in March 2024 after a decade with the Rams, was noted on the league transaction wire following his latest workout. Earlier this month, he had also worked out with the team after they acquired Myles Garrett in a trade.
Rams head coach Sean McVay commented on Donald's situation after a preseason victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, emphasizing that there is no strict timeline for Donald's decision. McVay stated that Donald has the right to determine his readiness without pressure, and discussions are ongoing regarding his physical condition as he considers his future.
