Aaron Donald's Comeback Contract Details Revealed
Aaron Donald, the defensive tackle, has finalized a contract that replaces his previous $30 million salary for the remaining year after his retirement following the 2023 season.
The contract includes various performance incentives for the 2026 season, such as a per-game active roster bonus of $666,667, with a maximum of 15 games. Additionally, Donald can earn up to $2.5 million for playoff qualification if he plays at least 15 percent of the regular-season defensive snaps.
Further incentives include $1.25 million for participation in the wild-card and divisional-round games, contingent on his active status and snap percentage. If the team wins the NFC Championship and he meets specific participation criteria, he can earn another $2.5 million, with the same amount available for the Super Bowl, also dependent on team performance and his participation. The total potential earnings from these incentives could reach $30 million, contingent on the Rams' success in the playoffs.
