Aaron Glenn Confident Jets Will Be Prepared After Jeanty's Comments
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn expressed confidence that his team will be prepared for their upcoming game against the Raiders after running back Ashton Jeanty criticized the Jets' tackling efforts. Jeanty suggested that film analysis indicates some Jets defenders are reluctant to tackle.
In response, Glenn emphasized the importance of the game on Sunday and acknowledged that while players often exchange words, the true motivation comes from the opportunity to compete each week. He noted that the Jets missed 13 tackles in their previous loss to the Dolphins, while Jeanty has recorded 10 forced missed tackles this season.
In terms of player availability, running back Breece Hall is questionable for the game after limited practice due to a quad injury. Defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat, edge Joseph Ossai, and offensive lineman Max Mitchell will not participate due to injuries. Glenn indicated that Nate Lynn will need to step up in a larger role due to the team's defensive challenges.
