Aaron Judge Resumes Batting Practice as Recovery Progresses

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has made progress in his recovery by resuming tee work at Yankee Stadium, following a stress fracture in his right first rib.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone informed reporters that Judge has been cleared for outdoor running, playing catch, and upper-body resistance training. Judge's recent tee work marks his first batting activity since May 31.

Judge suffered the injury on April 26 and was placed on the injured list in late May, having recorded a .248 batting average with 17 home runs and 38 RBIs in 59 games prior to his injury. The team has not announced a specific timeline for his return to play this season.
