Aaron Rodgers Comments on Jalen Hurts' Medical Situation
Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has shared his thoughts on the medical situation of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has been sidelined for the remainder of the season due to blood clots in his lungs.
Rodgers noted that while he is not personally close to Hurts, he is not surprised by the developments surrounding his medical care. He mentioned his past disagreements with Allen Sills, the NFL's medical director, particularly regarding the COVID-19 vaccine protocols. Hurts was initially diagnosed with a superficial blood clot before a game in London but was later found to have deep vein thrombosis and additional clots after returning to the U.S.
The NFL has stated that it will not penalize the Eagles for their management of Hurts' condition, although the NFL Players' Association has called for an investigation into the matter.
