Aaron Rodgers Disappointed Preseason Game Isn't at Lambeau Field
Aaron Rodgers has shared his disappointment that his last game against the Green Bay Packers will not occur at Lambeau Field. The veteran quarterback, who is set to retire after this NFL season, expressed his hopes for a final matchup in Green Bay during a press conference.
The Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled to meet on Thursday for their preseason openers in Pittsburgh. Rodgers mentioned that he had looked forward to returning to Lambeau Field not only for the game but also to reconnect with familiar faces and enjoy local dining and leisure activities.
Rodgers, who spent 18 seasons with the Packers and won a Super Bowl in 2011, is beginning what he has indicated will be his final season in the league. This season also marks a reunion with Mike McCarthy, who has taken over as head coach of the Steelers after previously coaching Rodgers in Green Bay.
