Aaron Wan-Bissaka Joins Aston Villa on Loan from West Ham
Aston Villa has finalized the acquisition of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham United on a season-long loan. The agreement features a conditional obligation for Villa to purchase the player, although specific terms remain undisclosed.
The 28-year-old right-back, who has represented DR Congo in the 2026 World Cup, missed West Ham's initial matches of the season while negotiating his move back to the Premier League. Wan-Bissaka joined West Ham in 2024 on a seven-year contract after leaving Manchester United, where he made 190 appearances and won the League Cup and FA Cup.
Wan-Bissaka may make his debut for Aston Villa in their upcoming Premier League match against Brighton. The club is also set to compete in the Champions League following a successful season under manager Unai Emery.
