Aberdeen Signs Mitchy Ntelo on Two-Year Deal
Aberdeen has announced the signing of Belgian forward Mitchy Ntelo from Swiss club Yverdon-Sport for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the option for a further year, as confirmed by manager Stephen Robinson.
Ntelo, who has nearly 150 club appearances and 30 goals to his name, showcased his scoring ability last season while on loan at Bulgarian club Botev Vratsa, netting six goals in six starts. Robinson highlighted Ntelo's versatility as a key factor in the signing, noting his capability to play both centrally and on the wings.
Before joining Yverdon-Sport, Ntelo began his career at Standard Liege and had loan spells at MVV Maastricht and Charleroi, among others. He expressed excitement about joining Aberdeen, recognizing the club's strong support and history in the league.
