AC Milan Prepares for New Season with Major Changes and Ambitions
As the 2026-2027 Serie A season approaches, AC Milan has undergone significant changes, including the appointment of new manager Ruben Amorim and a revamped leadership team. Following a disappointing previous season that saw the club miss out on a Champions League spot, owner Gerry Cardinale initiated a complete overhaul of the club's hierarchy.
Massimiliano Allegri, Igli Tare, Geoffrey Moncada, and Giorgio Furlani have all departed, paving the way for Amorim, who previously managed Manchester United and achieved success at Sporting CP. Under Cardinale's leadership, AC Milan has also seen a remarkable increase in brand value, now exceeding €514 million, marking a 236% growth since 2021, making it the fastest-growing football brand globally.
The club has made significant investments in the transfer market, securing key players such as defender Mario Gila and forward Gonçalo Ramos, the latter becoming the most expensive signing in the club's history. Additionally, veteran midfielder Luka Modric will continue with the team, expressing his commitment to AC Milan and its passionate fanbase.
