Adam Copeland Reflects on Wrestling at Maple Leaf Gardens
Adam Copeland, a star in AEW, has expressed that wrestling at Maple Leaf Gardens holds greater significance for him than performing at any other venue, including Wembley Stadium. This milestone is particularly meaningful as he approaches the conclusion of his wrestling career.
Having fulfilled many aspirations on his wrestling bucket list, Copeland reminisced about his childhood experiences at Maple Leaf Gardens. He recently wrestled there for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, a moment he had long dreamed of achieving. He noted that after a nine-year retirement, wrestling at this iconic venue seemed like a distant hope until he joined AEW.
Copeland credited Scott D'Amore, the former TNA president and owner of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, for helping make this dream a reality. As he looks ahead, Copeland has announced that 2027 will mark his final year in wrestling, with the Tokyo Dome being one of the few venues still on his list.
