Adam Copeland is anticipated to face Steve Maclin at the Maple Leaf Pro Northern Rising event, scheduled for October 3 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto.

This matchup was hinted at during recent television tapings in Windsor, Ontario, where Maclin participated in two matches, winning one against Psycho Mike Rollins and being disqualified in another against Rhino. A rivalry between Copeland and Maclin was teased during these tapings.

Copeland has expressed his excitement about wrestling at the venue, which was formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens. He was officially announced for the Northern Rising event during a segment on MLP Mayhem aired on July 29.
