Adam Copeland Steps In for Injured Jay White in Clockwork Carnage Match

Adam Copeland has replaced Jay White in the upcoming Clockwork Carnage match at AEW WrestleDream 2026 due to White's injury. The match will feature eight AEW performers competing for the AEW World Championship.

The first-ever Clockwork Carnage match is set to take place at AEW WrestleDream 2026, featuring eight competitors vying for the AEW World Championship. Adam Copeland will now participate in the match, stepping in for Jay White, who is sidelined due to an injury.

Initially, Jay White was scheduled to compete against Ricochet, but he sustained an injury that led to Copeland's inclusion in the match. This change occurred after Christian Cage also suffered injuries, prompting Copeland's entry into the lineup. Copeland has expressed his desire to win the championship before his retirement in 2027.

Christian Cage is currently out of action with three broken ribs and a collapsed lung, injuries he sustained at AEW All Out 2026, the same event where White was injured.
