Adam Scott Moves Closer to Leaders at Baycurrent Classic
Adam Scott recorded a 6-under 65 on Saturday at the Baycurrent Classic in Yokohama, Japan, positioning himself just one stroke behind the leaders as he aims for his first PGA Tour title since 2020.
The 46-year-old Australian is tied for fourth place at 12-under, alongside Jacob Bridgeman, Zach Bauchou, Michael Brennan, and Justin Thomas. Bridgeman, who led after the first round, had a mixed performance with six birdies and four bogeys, while Bauchou struggled with three bogeys in four holes.
Scott's round included two eagles and three birdies, despite a bogey on the seventh hole. His last victory on the PGA Tour was at The Genesis Invitational in 2020. The tournament features a total of 72 players competing for a prize pool of $8 million, with the winner set to receive $1.44 million.
