Adelaide Crows Delist Three Players Ahead of Off-Season
The Adelaide Crows have announced the delisting of three players from their senior squad as they approach the off-season. Chayce Jones, Lachlan Sholl, and Tyler Welsh will not be offered contracts for 2027 and beyond.
Jones, who was selected with Pick 9 in the 2018 National Draft, played 100 games over eight seasons. Scholl also spent eight seasons with the Crows, participating in 79 games and receiving two Rising Star nominations. Welsh, the son of former player Scott Welsh, was drafted with Pick 59 in 2024 but did not make an appearance at the AFL level.
List manager Jarryd Roughead expressed gratitude to the players for their contributions to the club. He noted the positive impact of each player and wished them well in their future endeavors. Currently, Jordon Butts, Charlie Edwards, Mitchell Hinge, Luke Pedlar, Billy Dowling, and Oscar Ryan remain without contracts for 2027, with some expected to seek trades this off-season.
