Adrian Meronk Declines LIV 2.0 Participation
Adrian Meronk has stated he will not be joining LIV 2.0, as reported by Eurosport. This decision aligns him with Jon Rahm, who recently announced that the terms for LIV 2.0 were unacceptable and confirmed he would not participate in the league's future events.
Both golfers had initially joined LIV Golf in late 2023. Meronk, who is 33 years old and originally from Poland, has achieved significant success, being named the 2023 player of the year on the European Tour, now known as the DP World Tour.
Meronk recently secured a two-stroke victory at the 2026 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, marking his fifth win on the DP World Tour. This victory ensures his full membership for the 2027 season, which is particularly valuable given the uncertainty surrounding LIV Golf as it undergoes Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Following his win, Meronk expressed uncertainty about his future plans but acknowledged the importance of maintaining his playing rights.
