AEW Collision Ratings Show Improvement on October 3, 2026
On October 3, 2026, AEW Collision returned to its regular timeslot following a tribute to wrestler Pac, who recently passed away. The episode featured Kofi's first AEW singles match against Lee Moriarty and Jon Moxley's victory over Jake Doyle in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator match, along with the announcement of the Clockwork Carnage match for the upcoming WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 17.
In terms of viewership, the episode averaged 415,000 viewers, marking a 16% decrease from the previous episode's 493,000 viewers, which had aired on a Wednesday night. However, this figure represents a significant increase from the 339,000 viewers of the September 19 episode, the last to air in its regular slot, and is 21% above the four-week trailing average of 343,000 viewers. Notably, these numbers do not account for those who streamed the show on HBO MAX.
The ratings were particularly strong in the 18-49 demographic, achieving a 0.08 rating, which matched the preempted September 23 episode and was double the rating from September 19. This figure was also 60% higher than the trailing four-week average of 0.05 and twice what Collision achieved in the same demographic last year. As a result, Collision ranked eighth in the prime time cable ratings for the night, marking a rare top ten placement for a Saturday night episode.
