AEW Continental Challenge Cup Finals Set for All In
The finals of the first AEW Continental Challenge Cup tournament are confirmed to take place at All In this Sunday, following the latest episode of Dynamite.
Jon Moxley, the reigning Continental Champion, will compete against former ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness for both the title and the Cup. Moxley secured his spot by defeating Claudio Castagnoli in a match that ended with a bulldog choke submission. McGuinness earned his place by overcoming Kyle O’Reilly, submitting him with a London Dungeon armlock despite concerns over his injured foot.
This match marks McGuinness's return to England for the first time since December and his second appearance at Wembley Stadium, with their previous singles encounter occurring over two decades ago in 2006.
