AEW Crowns New World Trios Champions at Grand Slam Mexico
At Grand Slam Mexico, AEW crowned new World Trios Champions after Hangman Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido triumphed over The Demand during the August 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The match commenced with an unexpected attack from Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun on the challengers as they entered the arena. Brody King quickly asserted dominance, overpowering both Liona and Kaun. A highlight of the match included Bandido launching himself over the ropes onto the champions, followed by a celebratory Macarena dance that was interrupted by The Demand.
The champions attempted to isolate Bandido, but he managed to tag in Page, who brought renewed energy to the match. Despite The Demand's teamwork, Page and Bandido executed a series of impressive moves, culminating in Bandido's successful 21-Plex on Liona, securing the victory and the championship. The new champions celebrated their win with the Macarena.
