AEW Faction Changes Name Shortly After Initial Reveal

Last week on AEW Dynamite, the Bang Bang Gang joined forces with The Dogs, attacking the Death Riders and expelling Gabe Kidd from their ranks. During AEW Collision, the faction introduced themselves as The Last Outfit, a name that sparked confusion on social media due to its multiple meanings.

However, just hours later, AEW released a promo featuring Jay White, who announced the faction's new name, The Cut. He emphasized their intent to confront the Death Riders, describing them as the last group capable of eliminating Jon Moxley and his team from AEW.

This swift name change reflects AEW's responsiveness to fan reactions, a trend noted in previous instances, such as when a theme song was reverted after negative feedback.
