AEW WrestleDream 2026 Expands with Two New Title Matches
The AEW WrestleDream 2026 event has been updated to include two new title matches after the Grand Slam France edition of AEW Collision on October 10.
Andrade El Idolo successfully defended his AEW National Championship against Michael Oku and challenged anyone in the locker room, leading to Tommaso Ciampa stepping up. This confrontation will be previewed on AEW Dynamite, where Andrade will team with Will Ospreay against Ciampa and Samoa Joe.
Additionally, the team known as Wrathlander, consisting of Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, won a three-way tag team match to become the number one contenders for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships. This victory allows them to compete at WrestleDream, where Statlander aims to become the second AEW Women's Triple Crown Champion.
Currently, seven matches are confirmed for WrestleDream, all featuring championship titles, except for the AEW TBS Championship, AEW TBT Championship, and AEW International Championship, which may have opportunities for qualification in upcoming matches.
