AEW WrestleDream 2026 to Feature New Clockwork Carnage Match
AEW WrestleDream 2026 is set to unveil a new match format called Clockwork Carnage, created by Will Ospreay. This match will involve eight participants and will take place on October 17 at Addition Arena in Orlando, Florida.
The match consists of two stages, starting with two wrestlers, followed by additional entrants every three minutes until all eight are in the ring. Eliminations occur in the first stage through pins or submissions, while the second stage allows the remaining wrestlers 15 minutes to score falls, with the winner becoming the Men's World Champion.
At AEW Dynamite Grand Slam: Paris, Will Ospreay successfully defended his title against Kazuchika Okada and will participate in the match. Samoa Joe secured his spot by defeating Jack Perry, while Speedball Mike Bailey is set to compete against Lee Moriarty for the final qualifying position.
