AFL Announces Wildcard Round Ticket Prices and Grand Final Increases

The AFL has announced that ticket prices for the Wildcard Round will begin at $35. This decision comes alongside a price freeze on entry-level tickets for all matches in the 2026 finals series, marking the eleventh consecutive year of this initiative.

Entry-level tickets for Qualifying, Elimination, and Semi-Finals will remain at $35, while other ticket categories will see a two percent increase compared to 2025 prices. The Grand Final will experience a four percent increase, with the lowest ticket priced at $172, up from $165 last year. The highest ticket price for the Grand Final will be $536, an increase from $515.

Approximately 75,000 tickets will be available for competing club members, AFL members, and MCC members, with the largest share going to competing club members. The 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series will introduce Wildcard Finals starting on August 28, with the Grand Final scheduled for September 26 at the MCG.
