AFL Draft Prospects Set to Debut in State-League Competitions

This weekend, a group of AFL draft prospects will participate in state-league competitions, including the VFL, SANFL, and WAFL, to boost their chances of entering the elite league.

Leading the group is Archie Van Dyk, who will play for South Adelaide. Recently, he excelled in the Under-18s, earning the AAMI Talent League MVP title after accumulating 36 disposals and 15 clearances in a match against Glenelg.

In the WAFL, Heath Mellody and George Gale will represent Claremont in their upcoming game against the Subiaco Lions. Richmond will introduce Tanner Armstrong, a member of their next-generation academy, in the VFL, while Sam Harris will play for North Melbourne. Additionally, Gus Kennedy will captain Collingwood against Port Melbourne. Other young talents are also competing across various clubs in the state leagues.
