AFL Teams Prepare for Delisted Free Agent Signings Ahead of 2027
The 2026 AFL Trade Period has concluded, and teams are now looking to enhance their rosters through the delisted free agent mechanism. Jake Stringer is set to join St Kilda, while North Melbourne is expected to sign Elijah Tsatas and Samson Ryan.
Isaac Keeler, a former Saint, is training with Port Adelaide as he seeks to secure a spot in the league. Additionally, Wil Parker is anticipated to sign a two-year deal with Carlton in November, following the opening of the delisted free agency period. Dom Bedendo has already signed with Fremantle after two years in the VFL.
Among other potential signings, a former Lion, who excelled in the VFL, is being considered for an AFL opportunity. Carlton is particularly interested in enhancing their speed across half-back, especially after the departure of Adam Saad.
