Ai Ogura Withdraws from Aragon GP Due to Hand Injury

Ai Ogura has been ruled out of the Aragon Grand Prix following a hand injury sustained during training in Japan. The injury, which involves a fracture near his left thumb, will necessitate surgery.

The American Trackhouse team confirmed Ogura's withdrawal from the race scheduled for August 30, stating that Lorenzo Savadori will step in as his replacement. The team expressed their wishes for Ogura's speedy recovery and thanked Savadori for his quick acceptance of the role.

This injury comes after Ogura's recent crash at Silverstone, which had already impacted his standing in the MotoGP championship, where he currently ranks third, trailing leader Jorge Martin by 37 points.
