Aidan Miller Returns to Action in Arizona Fall League
Aidan Miller, a prospect for the Philadelphia Phillies, is making his comeback in the Arizona Fall League after missing most of the regular season due to a back injury. Drafted 27th overall in 2023 from a high school in New Port Richey, Florida, Miller's season was cut short by discogenic pain and facet inflammation in his lumbar spine, leading to a radiofrequency ablation procedure in June.
During the season, Miller played only eight games, half of which were in the Eastern League playoffs for Double-A Reading. He had been anticipated to make his major league debut, having ranked highly among the Phillies' prospects following a strong 2025 season where he achieved a 137 wRC+ and hit 14 home runs while stealing 59 bases.
Now in the Arizona Fall League, Miller is adjusting his training approach to protect his health, focusing on quality over quantity in his swings. He has shared insights about his practice routines and the mental aspects of hitting, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy balance while preparing for the next level.
