A.J. Brown Likely to Return for Patriots Against Jets
The New England Patriots may see a significant improvement in their offense as star wide receiver A.J. Brown is likely to be activated from Injured Reserve for the game against the New York Jets this Sunday.
Brown has been sidelined since suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 1, missing the minimum four games required for players placed on IR. He returned to practice this week but was limited throughout the sessions, leading to a questionable game designation.
Before his injury, Brown recorded three receptions for 26 yards in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. The Patriots' offense struggled initially, particularly in a Week 3 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but has shown improvement in recent games, winning against the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders. If Brown does not play this week, he may return in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.
