AJ Styles Clarifies Temporary Role at WWE NXT
AJ Styles has recently been present at the WWE Performance Center, where he is temporarily assisting rather than serving as a full-time coach in NXT.
Styles has been filling in for coach Terry Taylor, who is recovering from knee surgery. He has contributed to producing matches, including a recent street fight that headlined an episode of NXT. Styles expressed enjoyment in his role and has implemented changes to keep training sessions engaging for the talent.
Although Styles has retired from in-ring competition and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, he has signed a new contract with WWE that allows him to take on various behind-the-scenes responsibilities. His future as a full-time NXT coach remains uncertain, but he has not completely ruled out returning to the ring, especially with his son beginning a career in professional wrestling.
