AJ Styles Transitions to Coaching Role at WWE Performance Center

AJ Styles has taken on a coaching role at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, nearly seven months after retiring from in-ring competition. He announced this development during an episode of his podcast.

Styles mentioned that he will be replacing one of the existing coaches and expressed satisfaction with his initial week in this new position. His retirement followed a match against GUNTHER at the Royal Rumble, marking the end of his 27-year wrestling career.

In addition to his coaching duties, Styles revealed that he is looking forward to his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026, an honor announced to him by The Undertaker. Meanwhile, his son, Avery, is training to pursue a wrestling career, although AJ believes he needs more preparation before attempting a WWE tryout.
