Akos Buzsaky, a former midfielder for QPR, has confirmed his safety through a social media post after being reported missing for more than a week. The reports originated from Hungary, prompting police involvement in the search for him.
On Friday, Buzsaky addressed the situation on Facebook, expressing gratitude for the concern shown towards him. He explained that recent personal changes led him to disconnect from his daily routines, which resulted in a misunderstanding that caused his mother to alert the authorities.
Following the misunderstanding, Buzsaky stated that he promptly contacted the authorities to clarify his situation. The 44-year-old had a notable career in England, playing for clubs including Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Barnsley, and scoring 33 goals in 243 appearances.
