Al-Hilal Negotiates Transfer for Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal

Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian football club, has begun negotiations with Arsenal to acquire winger Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian forward is available for transfer this summer as he is not part of manager Mikel Arteta's plans.

Martinelli, who has one year remaining on his contract with Arsenal, previously attracted interest from Turkish club Galatasaray, which made a £45 million bid. However, the player declined to consider a move to Istanbul. Al-Hilal has indicated they are prepared to offer more than Galatasaray's proposal.

In addition to pursuing Martinelli, Al-Hilal is also interested in signing Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, who did not play in Villa's recent match against Brighton.
