Al Michaels, a prominent figure in NFL broadcasting, continues to call major games as he enters his fifth year with Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. At 81 years old, he recognizes that his time in this role may eventually come to an end.

During a recent appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Michaels shared his thoughts on when he might know it's time to step back. He expressed appreciation for the support he has received from Amazon and Prime Video, noting that he would accept their decision if they choose to move on from his services.

After initially signing a three-year contract, Michaels has had his agreement extended on a yearly basis. He indicated that he would be content with whatever decision is made regarding his future, reflecting on his 41 years in the NFL and the memories he has created throughout his career.
