Al-Nassr Aims for Top Spot Against Al-Faisaly in Saudi Pro League
Al-Nassr is set to face Al-Faisaly in the Saudi Pro League on Friday, October 23, at 2:30 PM BST (4:30 PM local time) at Al Majma’ah Sports City Stadium. A win could propel Al-Nassr to the top of the league table.
Al-Nassr enters the match on a three-game winning streak and has only lost once in nine league matches this season, boasting seven victories and two clean sheets in their last two games. Cristiano Ronaldo, currently at 981 career goals, will be looking to edge closer to the milestone of 1,000 goals. In contrast, Al-Faisaly has struggled this season, winning only once in nine league games.
Historically, Al-Nassr has a strong advantage, having won 13 of their 28 encounters with Al-Faisaly. The last seven meetings have all resulted in a winner. Al-Nassr will be without Kingsley Coman and Abdulrahman Ghareeb, while Al-Faisaly will depend on Alexandre Mendy, who has been their standout player this season.
