Alan Shearer Suggests Fabio Hurzeler as Potential Replacement for Michael Carrick at Manchester United

Alan Shearer, a former Premier League winner, has identified Fabio Hurzeler as a leading candidate to replace Michael Carrick at Manchester United, should the club choose to make a managerial change.

In addition to the managerial speculation, Manchester United is considering activating a 12-month extension clause in Lisandro Martinez's contract to secure a fee for the player. The club is also facing concerns over striker Benjamin Sesko, who may be out of action until the new year.

Bruno Fernandes has publicly questioned the coaching staff's strategy following a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League, highlighting the need for a more aggressive pressing approach.
